This talk and mini-demo workparty is geared for those who want to learn more about the benefits of sheet mulching, a.k.a. no-till technique for soil building. Methods applied can help transform neglected space, (or lawns) into more intentional uses. Building healthy soil naturally and strategic layering of organic materials will be discussed.
When: Saturday, February 11
Time: 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
We have all that is needed but we suggest you bring water, gloves and dress for weather. We look forward to seeing you then!
We break for a potluck lunch around 12:30. But do come whether or not you are able to bring something. Basic food such as chili, or Dahl and rice will be provided. All are welcome.
